Robot love

So my 12 year old needed a quick Birthday card, so off to my HAPPY PLACE...lol.  I made a quick card for the party at hand.  I'm trying to build my stash, so I made a few .  I used the Recollection stamp set robots.  I'm really trying to make the most out of the stamps I have.  I could spend money on new stamps but I'm really trying to cut back on the budget for craft supplies.  We will see how long I can hold out..lol.

monster birthday

I had fun making this card.  I challenged myself to use stamps that I had.  I think it's easy to fall in the trap of buying new stamps and not really getting to use the old ones.  So I dug in my stash and this is what I created.  The monsters are from Recollections, and the cupcake was a dollar stamp from Michael's.  I used my copic markers to color them in.  Thanks for stopping in and happy stamping!

So I have seen other crafters stamp on kraft card stock so I thought I would give it a try.  The card stock is crumb cake from Stampin Up.  The stamp is from Simon Says Stamp, You are Pawesome.  The sentiment is from Stampendous, Happy Messages.  I colored the images using my copic markers.  The only thing I found was I had to put a white piece of paper inside to over up the small ink that has saturated the paper.  Thanks for stopping in and happy stamping!

MFT Adorable Elehpant
